Our Executive Team have decades of recruitment experience across a breadth of UK-wide markets. They are based across our Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee offices and are the driving force behind our values and vision for HRC.
Hilary established HRC Recruitment (formerly HR Consultancy) back in 1995. From there, the business has grown exponentially across Scotland and the UK.
At the outset, Hilary built the business on a number of simple beliefs:
- To stand out from the competition through the quality of the service provided
- To offer a more individual and tailored service to candidates than was currently available in the marketplace
- To work in partnership with clients and grow mutually beneficial relationships built on openness and trust.
These were the foundations of the business and they continue to define the way we do business today.

Joe first joined HRC in 2006, before working with us on a consultancy basis before rejoining full time in 2018.
As Director of Professional Services in Edinburgh, Joe is currently within multi-disciplined teams to deliver recruitment solutions in both permanent and temporary markets including Legal, Financial Services, Accountancy, Payroll, HR & Training and Office Services.

Shona originally joined the business in 2003 and returned as a Director in 2015 with ambitious plans to grow the company’s offering across the Financial Services market.
As Director of HRC Solutions, Shona is currently working within multi-disciplined teams to deliver recruitment solutions in both permanent and temporary markets including Financial Services, Risk & Compliance, Call & Contact Centre, Multi-Lingual and Volume Recruitment.

As Operations Director, Steven is responsible for the people, processes and overall performance of the business. He manages our HR, Marketing and Support teams and is at the heart of our continued growth and improvement strategy.
