What made you want to join HRC Recruitment?
HRC put trust in me and allowed me freedom to work remotely in a market I have experience in, while offering excellent benefits and most importantly a really strong team dynamic and culture.
What career path did you follow before getting into recruitment?
I previously worked for my father’s business in the textiles industry (James Philips & Co - shoutout haha!). It offered me a lot of opportunity, but I wanted to try something different. I have also worked at Rangers Football Club for 10 years; I was involved in a number of duties over the years including going overseas to Australia to coach.
What was your dream job as a child?
I would have to say a footballer. I got up to semi-professional level in a senior league making some money, so I half achieved it!
What’s been your biggest success so far?
My biggest success so far would be buying my first home with my partner and starting a new life in Northern Ireland together.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to spend time with my friends and family, going out for nice meals and drinks. I enjoy a round of golf and playing football as well.
What is most important to you?
Making my family proud, living a comfortable life and going on lots of nice holidays.
