Meet the Recruiter: Jamie Blair

 What made you want to join HRC Recruitment? After seeing the vacancy listing, I researched HRC. I watched some of their intro videos and immediately felt that the people here seemed friendly and genuine. What career path did you follow before getting into recruitment? None! This is my first career path. During my studies, I considered accounting or financial services. I realised as time went on that I would prefer a career where I can use my interpersonal skills and have a little bit of fun with What was your dream job as a child?  To run a llama sanctuary called Calm-a-Llama-Down. What’s been your biggest success so far? Aside from my degree, I finished third place in Scotland, and then fourteenth in Britain in my age group (13-15) for the Youth Climbing Series. The competition took place over various regional qualifying rounds, then moving up to national levels. When we’re not in the middle of a pandemic, what do you like to do in your free time? Climbing (surprise surprise), hillwalking, kayaking, guitar, general adventuring. What is most important to you? Living a life that I’ll be proud of on my deathbed. Describe yourself in three words.
