There has never been a moment in living memory where the provision of healthcare has dominated the headlines quite so much. In the midst of an ongoing pandemic, it is more crucial than ever that our most vulnerable are being looked after by the right people.
That’s why our candidates are so important to us – and why we go all out to treat them well.
You may have been furloughed or been made redundant recently and decided to work in the healthcare sector temporarily (or as a complete career pivot). You may already be working in the industry but are unhappy with your recruitment agency and are keen to see what else is out there.
Having spoken to many of our successful temp candidates, they gave us feedback as to why they chose to place their career in the hands of the consultants here at HRC.

Easy online registration
We understand that the last thing you want to do after a hard, lengthy shift is attempt to fill in mountains of paperwork just to register with an agency. So, we’ve broken the process down into easy-to-follow steps with minimum fuss. We’ll have a chat with you on the phone, check your documents, and you’ll be ready to work in no time.
Access to free training courses
Many of us have had to up- or re-skill in the past year – but online courses can be expensive! So, we offer all of our healthcare candidates access to free training courses online. You can keep your skills set up-to-date or learn about something that you have a passion for.
Free PVG update
Renewing your PVG documentation can cost up to £18 – and right now everyone needs as much money in their pockets as possible (especially if you have kids at home – how do they eat so much food every week?!). HRC Recruitment will cover the costs for your document renewal once you register with us as a candidate.
Flexibility
This is not a dictatorship – you let us know when you are available to work and we will work around your schedule. We understand that many people have additional homeschooling or caring responsibilities right now so we will never put you forward for a placement without checking your availability first. We don’t want our candidates to burn out!
Temporary to perm opportunities
Throughout Scotland, many of our healthcare clients have been so impressed with the quality of temporary candidates that they have offered them permanent roles. This might not be for you – and that’s fine, you can keep temping with us! But if you do have your eye on a more permanent position, just know that they are out there.
Online timesheet portal
Like our registration process, we want minimal fuss for our hard-working candidates. So, we ditched the actual paperwork and brought our timesheet portal online, meaning you can update your work schedule at a time (and on a device) that suits you.
