Are you who we’re looking for?

  • Your communication and interpersonal skills are second to none
  • You have excellent understanding and knowledge of working within a wider kitchen team
  • Adhering to the company vales; a proud ambassador for the heritage of the location and applying quality to everything you do
  • You have appropriate certification (e.g. Health & Hygiene or Personal Licence) and have experience working in a similar environment
  • You have excellent knife skills and culinary knowledge; you are passionate about your job and want to push yourself in your career

What does the day to day look like?

  • To prepare and cook dishes to SOP standard every shift
  • To supervise any commis chefs working in your area to achieve all SOP standards.
  • To be fully aware of and comply with food hygiene regulations and report any breaches to senior chefs
  • To be fully aware of and ensure adherence to and compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Undertake cleaning/housekeeping duties as required to ensure high levels of hygiene are maintained at all times
  • Dealing with deliveries as directed recording delivery temperatures and storing in appropriate areas to house rule standards
