Are you who we’re looking for?
- Your communication and interpersonal skills are second to none
- You have excellent understanding and knowledge of working within a wider kitchen team
- Adhering to the company vales; a proud ambassador for the heritage of the location and applying quality to everything you do
- You have appropriate certification (e.g. Health & Hygiene or Personal Licence) and have experience working in a similar environment
- You have excellent knife skills and culinary knowledge; you are passionate about your job and want to push yourself in your career
What does the day to day look like?
- To prepare and cook dishes to SOP standard every shift
- To supervise any commis chefs working in your area to achieve all SOP standards.
- To be fully aware of and comply with food hygiene regulations and report any breaches to senior chefs
- To be fully aware of and ensure adherence to and compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Undertake cleaning/housekeeping duties as required to ensure high levels of hygiene are maintained at all times
- Dealing with deliveries as directed recording delivery temperatures and storing in appropriate areas to house rule standards
