Chefs Wanted for Relief Work in Care Homes – Glasgow, Renfrew & Lanarkshire
HRC Hospitality is looking for experienced chefs to join our team for flexible relief work across various care environments, including care homes, children’s units, and rehabilitation centres.
About the Role:
- Work through an agency with a variety of shifts available each week.
- Choose the shifts that suit you—anything worked Monday to Sunday is paid the following Friday.
- Pay rates range from £14 to £16 per hour, depending on the venue.
- You may be the sole chef on-site, supported by a kitchen or catering assistant.
- Some locations may require home baking and catering for anywhere between 10 to 100 residents.
- A PVG check and relevant food safety/allergen training are required—but don’t worry, HRC covers the costs!
What We’re Looking For:
- At least one year of experience in a similar role.
- Confidence in adapting to different kitchen settings.
- Understanding that agency shifts vary week to week.
