Claims Handler – Glasgow/Hybrid - £27,000 - £30,000
Do you have experience in dealing with personal injury or motor claims? Are you looking to take on a new claims role with a growing business?
A leading legal firm are looking to add a claims handler to their existing team due to continued growth in the business. This role would be a great fit for someone with a good background in dealing with claims, ideally within a personal injury, motor, or recoveries background.
What does the day to day look like?
- Managing a caseload of claims
- Dealing with claimants and witnesses, ensuring crucial facts are taken
- Conducting pre litigation investigations concerning liability and causation
- Dealing with third party insurers, ensuring communication is maintained appropriately
- Negotiating on settlements
- Continually working in line with compliance standards and clients SLA’s
What experience is needed?
- Experience in a claims position, ideally within personal injury, motor or recoveries in either an insurance or a legal setting
- Ability to manage time and workloads effectively
- Commercial awareness and the ability to apply this to individual cases
- The ability to work proactively and autonomously
