Are you a skilled CNC Maintenance Engineer looking for a high-paying role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Our Glasgow-based facility is seeking a proactive and experienced engineer to maintain and optimise CNC machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Purpose of the Role:
To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve CNC machinery and associated equipment, ensuring reliability and efficiency in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
Are you who we’re looking for?
- Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in CNC maintenance.
- Strong background in diagnosing and repairing faults on CNC machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or similar CNC control systems.
- Ability to carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs efficiently.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC fault-finding is advantageous.
- A proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail and a commitment to reducing downtime.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, able to work independently when required.
