Commercial and Property Litigation Solicitor – 4-7 Years PQE – Band 1 Firm – Edinburgh or Glasgow
HRC Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading Band 1 law firm to recruit a talented Commercial and Property Litigation Solicitor for their highly regarded Dispute Resolution team. Based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, this is an exceptional opportunity for a solicitor with 4-7 years PQE to take on a varied and challenging caseload within a top-tier environment. This role would be a fantastic next step for any dual or English Qualified solicitor who is eager to utilise their skillset, whilst developing and growing their career with an extremely well-regarded team.
As part of this market-leading team, you will handle a broad range of commercial and property litigation matters, advising clients across diverse sectors. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value disputes, while benefiting from the firm’s collaborative culture and commitment to professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial and property litigation matters, including contract disputes, landlord and tenant issues, and property-related claims.
- Provide clear, strategic advice to clients, ensuring their objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
- Represent clients at court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and tribunals as required.
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents to a high standard.
- Work closely with colleagues across the firm’s departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
- Support junior team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including client networking and marketing activities, to enhance the firm’s presence in the market.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 4-7 years PQE, with demonstrable experience in commercial and property litigation.
- Strong technical knowledge of dispute resolution processes, including court procedures and alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- A proactive approach to managing cases, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- A commitment to collaborative working and contributing to the team’s success.
