Commercial Property Solicitor

Our client, a long established leading Glasgow City law firm, offers a high quality and personalised legal service to businesses and private clients across Scotland. Their services include a bespoke service for their business clients offering advice in commercial real estate, corporate and commercial matters and employment, as well as advising on wills, succession planning, executry, house purchase & sale and personal injury for our private clients.

An opportunity has arisen for a real estate lawyer to join their commercial property team.

Headed up by two partners, the commercial property team combines a wide range of legal and commercial skills, offering the full range of services required for the property industry, including practical commercial advice on sale & purchases, acquisitions, commercial leasing and development.

Their commercial property client base ranges from the individual property investors to the larger commercial property developers and housebuilders.
The role will involve managing and running existing client portfolios, as well as working with the partners on complex cases. You will be comfortable running your own client files whilst assisting clients to achieve their aims. You must be comfortable dealing directly with clients and meeting new people, as you provide a personalised legal service to their client base.

Applicants must have commercial property experience, have strong communications skills, and be looking to further their own legal career in this specialism. Ideally applicants will be circa 2-4 years post qualified although there is flexibility around this, consideration will be given to applicants qualifying in 2025 with a specialist commercial property traineeship.
