Continuous Improvement Engineer
Location: Ayrshire
Salary: Up to £45k

HRC Recruitment are assisting our client in the manufacturing industry with their search for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence and efficiency across their manufacturing processes. You will play a critical role in identifying improvement opportunities, optimising processes, and ensuring best practices are implemented and sustained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pinpoint inefficiencies, risks, and bottlenecks in manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate current operations and document improvement areas.
  • Design and execute initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to drive measurable improvements.
  • Track KPIs such as Conversion Cost, Production Output, and Business Waste.
  • Provide data-driven reports to measure success and inform stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Train employees on best practices and new process implementations.
  • Maintain process standards to support safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Research and implement industry best practices.

About You

  • Strong background in process engineering, continuous improvement, or lean manufacturing.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work across departments, influencing and driving change
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
