Conveyancing Legal Secretary
Salary: Up to £30,000, depending on experience
Edinburgh – part-time or full-time hours considered

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our client's dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide administrative and secretarial support to a busy conveyancing department. You would be joining a modern law firm and estate agency operating across Scotland with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and paralegals within the conveyancing team
- Transcribing dictation from a digital dictation system
- Production of accurate, timely and professionally presented documentation
- Scanning, allocating, filing, photocopying and archiving legal paperwork
- Managing files on our case management system
- Handling telephone calls including liaising with clients and other professional contacts
- Supporting solicitors and paralegals with diary management, including organizing meetings
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1 years experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary is essential
- A solid understanding of conveyancing processes, terminology, and legal documentation
- Strong time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal management software
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
