Based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, this is an exceptional opportunity for a driven solicitor to work at the forefront of corporate law, advising on high-profile, complex transactions within a collaborative and innovative environment.

As part of this market-leading team, you will handle a diverse range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate governance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a wide variety of corporate matters, including M&A, disposals, reorganisations, and investments.
  • Support the execution of high-value transactions, working closely with clients and other stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Draft and negotiate key transactional documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide seamless, multi-disciplinary advice on complex matters.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, networking, and supporting the firm’s strategic growth.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in corporate law, ideally within a leading law firm.
  • A strong track record of advising on corporate transactions, including M&A and private equity.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining a high standard of client service.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver pragmatic, strategic advice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to the team’s success.
