Corporate Solicitor – Edinburgh or Glasgow – Band 1 Firm

As part of this market-leading team, you will handle a diverse range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate governance. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a wide variety of corporate matters, including M&A, disposals, reorganisations, and investments.
- Support the execution of high-value transactions, working closely with clients and other stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Draft and negotiate key transactional documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional service.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide seamless, multi-disciplinary advice on complex matters.
- Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, networking, and supporting the firm’s strategic growth.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Qualified solicitor with experience in corporate law, ideally within a leading law firm.
- A strong track record of advising on corporate transactions, including M&A and private equity.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining a high standard of client service.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver pragmatic, strategic advice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
