We are looking for experienced support coordinators with supervisory experience to join our busy client in Glasgow. This is a permanent role where you will be part of a team that assists vulnerable females who need emergency housing and accommodation. This service provides high-quality support, care, and daily support for vulnerable individuals throughout the community. You will ensure service levels are maintained by controlling rotas and supporting management with any staffing changes to ensure appropriate cover is always in place.

Hours – 5 days over 7, working on a rota covering shifts between 7 am till 9.30 pm

Your day to day:

· Guide staff in providing a welcoming, responsive, flexible and integrated service provision that reflects and meets the needs of supported individuals

· Provide team leaders with information relating to the level of support being delivered in line with organisational and interagency systems

· Support the team with maintaining staff rotas, taking into account information relating to any changes in service user or staff needs

· Support and contribute to the resourcing of interventions for people who we support in crisis situations, and/or manage physical risk or behaviour likely to cause incidents, in accordance with the individuals personal developmental support plan, risk management plan or service protocol

· Follow, update and review risk assessments and risk management plans

· Attend and contribute to individual reviews often as a key worker or as required

· Access and contribute to local information systems as appropriate by using Better Futures Outcome Monitoring Framework

· Direct and supervise the day-to-day activities of a team and supported individuals including forward planning activities where appropriate

· Continually monitor and evaluate practices to ensure quality service provision and service improvement

What you will bring:

· Ideally at least 2 years experience of supporting individuals within a human service setting

· A knowledge of the challenges and needs of vulnerable individuals

· Active Listening Skills Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with a wide range of individuals and groups

· An ability to problem solve

· An approachable and friendly manner while being able to support people in leading ordinary lives

· Experience of facilitating groups/training An understanding of the impact of alcohol or drug misuse on individuals, families and communities

· An understanding of the impact of homelessness on individuals

· Proficient computer skills

· Previous experience within a similar role is advantageous
