Managing Employment Associate - 4 years PQE+ (Edinburgh / Glasgow)

What does the day-to-day look like?
- Develop and implement strategic plans for business development in the area of employment tribunal legal work through a managed legal service.
- Foster and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for clients regarding any issues or concerns related to employment tribunal cases handled by the team.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure effective resolution of client concerns and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the employment tribunal legal services provided by the team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes, implement best practices, and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for preventing future employment tribunal claims and improving overall employment practices.
- Navigate a diverse array of employment law issues, ensuring a dynamic and fulfilling work environment.
- Lead and mentor a team of talented lawyers and paralegals, while also building strong relationships with business partners and driving the expansion of our service offerings.
What we're looking for:
- A Qualified Employment Lawyer with 4 years PQE experience
- Dedicated to exceptional client service.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills, coupled with good business awareness.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate initiative and drive.
- You will be a strong leader, team player and sociable.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to prioritise and multi-task, particularly when working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Good commercial awareness.
