Employment Lawyer – Edinburgh
HRC Recruitment is delighted to partner with a globally renowned law firm to recruit an Employment Lawyer to join their prestigious Edinburgh office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated solicitor with 3+ years PQE to elevate their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking team, working on complex and high-profile employment law matters.
As part of a dynamic Employment team, you will advise a diverse range of clients, from multinational corporations to SMEs, on a broad spectrum of employment law issues. You will play a critical role in delivering innovative legal solutions, representing clients in contentious and non-contentious matters, and contributing to the firm’s continued success on both a national and international level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on employment law matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancy, TUPE, and employment tribunal claims.
- Handle a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients at employment tribunals and other legal proceedings as required.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on employment law issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s global network to deliver seamless, commercially focused solutions.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years PQE with a strong background in employment law.
- Proven experience managing a broad caseload of employment law matters.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to provide pragmatic, solution-focused advice.
- Strong interpersonal and client management skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
- A proactive team player with a willingness to mentor and support junior colleagues.
