Are you an organised and detail-oriented Engineering Stores Person looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment? Our Bellshill-based facility is seeking a proactive individual to manage engineering stock, support maintenance teams, and ensure the smooth running of our storeroom operations. Purpose of the Role:
To manage and maintain engineering stock levels, ensuring parts and materials are available to support maintenance and production teams in a high-speed FMCG manufacturing environment.
Are you who we’re looking for?
- Experience in an engineering stores or stock control role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage inventory, track stock levels, and maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of engineering components, spare parts, and consumables is highly desirable.
- Comfortable using stock management systems, databases, or ERP systems.
- Ability to liaise with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and place orders when required.
- A proactive and methodical approach to work, with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, able to work effectively with maintenance and production teams.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and compliance in a manufacturing setting.
