Factory Manager - Food Manufacturing  
Location - Inverclyde
Salary - £60-70k

Our client, a leader in food manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee operations, streamline processes, and support a high-performing team.

Are you who we’re looking for?
We’re looking for a proactive, results-oriented leader with a strong track record in food manufacturing. You’ll need:  
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG  
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage, and motivate production teams  
- Deep understanding of food safety standards, quality control, and HACCP principles  
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimization  
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make swift, informed decisions  
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently  
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite  
- A degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred  

What does the day-to-day look like? 
As Factory Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production and ensuring daily goals are met efficiently and safely. In this role, you’ll:  
- Lead and supervise all factory operations, from production to quality control  
- Manage team performance, including recruitment, training, and continuous staff development  
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste  
- Ensure all production processes meet or exceed quality and safety standards  
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive improvements to hit production targets  
- Collaborate with other departments, including R&D and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless operations  
- Gain experience and opportunities for career advancement, with a path to senior management
