Job Title: Factory Manager – FMCG

Are you who we’re looking for?
- Proven experience as a Factory Manager or similar leadership role in an FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of production management, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and quality control processes.
- Results-driven, with a focus on process optimisation and cost reduction.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and under pressure.
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
What does the day-to-day look like?
- Managing all production operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet production targets and delivery deadlines.
- Overseeing quality control processes to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Leading a team of production supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.
- Monitoring factory KPIs, driving performance improvements, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, creating a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborating with supply chain, procurement, and engineering teams to optimise production processes and resource allocation.
- Identifying and implementing lean manufacturing practices to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
