I am looking to speak with newly qualified individuals for this exciting Accountant opportunity. My client operates on a hybrid work model and offers flexible working hours. The Company
Global market leading business that is currently going through a large-scale transformation project.
The Role
- Lead the end-to-end management of US GAAP financials for multiple legal entities.
- Analyse profit and loss statements as well as balance sheet trends and variances.
- Conduct month-end reviews and approvals, focusing on high-risk journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review and assess general ledger activity, investigating and resolving account discrepancies.
- Perform in-depth balance sheet analysis and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Facilitate monthly business reviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Actively engage in Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives
- Handle various special projects as needed.
The Candidate
- Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA)
- 1st time mover from practice, ideally top 10 firm
- Driven individual- keen to further develop and learn
- Strong communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders
