Join a successful and dynamic team in North Ayrshire. Our valued client is looking for a Financial Controller to be part of a rapidly expanding group that has doubled in size in recent years. As an experienced finance leader, you will have a pivotal position within the leadership team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance team and report directly to the Group Head of Finance and Site Controller
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Develop and prepare all budgets and forecasts, presenting them to the Group Leadership team
- Oversee all aspects of finance and accounting for the business including statutory accounts, management accounts, budgeting and forecasting and cash management
- Ensure appropriate financial and management controls are in place and effective.
- Ongoing process improvement and implementation of any changes required for more effective reporting
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, both finance and non finance
What do you need to be considered?
- A professional accountancy qualification (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage, lead, and motivate people at all levels.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability with high accuracy.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships.
