We are delighted to be working in partnership with a successful UK wide business who are looking for a Group Accountant to join their existing team based in Glasgow City Centre.
This is a high-profile role within a fast-moving business which requires a Qualified Accountant who can juggle multiple deadlines and be confident in reporting and consolidating financial accounts for multiple entities.
On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for:
- All aspects of the group financial and management accounts including full consolidation
- Preparation/review of individual company year-end accounts
- Ensuring strong financial controls
- Ongoing process improvement
- Dealing with external auditors and professional partners and internal stakeholders at all levels
What do you need to be considered?
- Must be a qualified accountant – ideally recently qualified (1st or 2nd move post qualification)
- An up to date knowledge of accounting standards
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Drive, ambition, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and develop
