Home Manager (Care home)
Location: Haddington
Salary: £65,000 (+bonus)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to lead our new, bespoke, state-of-the-art care facility in Haddington. Our facility is designed to promote independence and comfort for its service users. If you have a passion for providing exceptional care and strong leadership skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure high standards of nursing care.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Social Care Act 2008 and associated regulations.
- Promote the wellbeing of both Service Users and staff.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff.
- Manage financial affairs, including budgeting and occupancy rates.
- Maintain positive relationships with medical professionals, relatives, and the community.
- Ensure a safe environment in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
- Knowledge of aging processes and care planning.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to equal opportunities.
- Ability to manage risk and ensure best practices in nursing care.
Training and Development:
- Mandatory training in areas such as Fire Safety, Food Hygiene, First Aid, Dementia Care, and more.
