HR Administrator - East Renfrewshire - Permanent Role - Salary Competitive

Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for a new challenge? 

Do you have a passion for completing a high volume of HR Administrative tasks?

This role is integral to enhancing our workplace environment and supporting our team's growth. You will support the Head of HR and wider business in handling all HR Administration duties. Experience in HR systems and expertise in BambooHR would be desirable. Strong administration experience and ability to demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset with process development. This is an administrative-based role from recruitment, new starts and full colleague lifecycle, whilst being efficient and highly effective with time. The successful candidate will utilise their strong HR Administration skillset and showcase excellent communication skills to support the HR function and wider business. 

 

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, and Friday 8am - 3:30pm. This role will initially be office based, moving to a hybrid working model. Salary for this position is depending on experience. 

Ideally, due to location of this role, you will be a driver. 

 

Are you who we are looking for? 

  • You are an experienced HR Administrator
  • You have knowledge of HR Systems.
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced environment  
  • You must have strong experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • You are an effective communicator, who is able to prioritise and manage your time effectively 
  • You can work well individually and within a wider team environment 
  • You are able to work well under pressure, using initiative and integrity

 

What is the day to day like? 

  • To be able to provide information and assistance on all aspects of HR Administration
  • Accurately process employee changes (starters, leavers, contractual changes, etc) through BambooHR in time for payroll cut-off and other key dates.
  • Assist the Head of HR with ad hoc project and reporting requests
  • Process various items of correspondence

Administration Responsibilities? 

  • Updating HR systems/databases with monthly starters, leavers and contractual changes
  • Updating time and attendance system with starters, leavers, changes and holiday entitlements
  • Administering all recruitment requirements
  • Managing all aspects of the new start process
  • Completing new start onboarding/inductions
  • Advising employees on all matters relating to holiday entitlement and administration
  • Completing absence management/ Employee Relations administration
  • Assisting with maternity administration, benefits administration, and monthly reporting
