HR Operations Manager

Glasgow City Centre

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 DOE

We are working with a global recruitment business who are looking to add an HR Operations Manager to their HR function in Glasgow due to growth. You will oversee a team to ensure delivery and oversight of a broad range of HR activities associated with the employment cycle. You will lead the provision of a high-quality and responsive HR Service, ensuring that the operations team is actively engaged in the continuous improvement of all HR Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set objectives for the HR team and track progress
  • Manage and oversee the onboarding and offboarding process
  • Managing the administration of reward changes including promotions, salary reviews, bonuses, and other incentives

· Work with the Head of HR on the delivery of key projects

· Oversee all ER activity supporting and guiding HR Advisors with Best Practice

  • Lead the team, to ensure the delivery of an excellent and accurate HR operations service to the group
  • Act as a role model for the HR team, coaching and developing team members to ensure high performance and potential
  • Facilitate the development of operating procedures and service standards, ensuring constant monitored to ensure high-quality and consistent HR service delivery
  • Develop and implement new company policies

What experience you will bring:

  • Proven track record as an HR Operations Manager
  • Experience operating in a busy, broad and diverse role, with a mix of team management and delivering hands-on administration and advice
  • Previous experience in people management is essential
  • Experienced in providing expert advice and coaching on ER issues to people managers
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to different stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Employment legislation and HR/ACAS Best Practices
  • Ability to take on and effectively manage projects in addition to day-to-day operations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Any experience in European HR legislation in either the Netherlands, Germany, or Belgium would be desirable but not essential
