We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ayrshire. This is a great chance for someone to make a real impact, gain valuable exposure, and further develop their Health & Safety skills in a high-hazard manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, company policies, and procedures.
  • Support the HSE Manager, ensuring the Health, Safety, & Environment policies are understood and adhered to.
  • Conduct H&S inspections, audits, and monitoring to ensure compliance and assist in resolving any arising actions.
  • Help maintain safety and environmental management systems, compile data, produce reports, and prepare procedures.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments and ensure safe operational procedures are in place.
  • Help develop and deliver HSE training materials.
  • Participate in incident investigations and support root cause analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NEBOSH Certification
  • Internal Auditor certification for OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Experience in an HSE team within a high-hazard manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessments and safety management in high-risk environments.
  • Experience in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset, with a focus on early identification and resolution of issues.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
