As the Hygiene Manager, you’ll be at the heart of operations, leading a team to ensure that hygiene practices are not only upheld but set the standard for the industry. Are you who we’re looking for?
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in hygiene management, ideally in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and other regulatory standards (e.g., BRC)
- A hands-on approach with excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in hygiene-related software systems or auditing tools is a plus.
What does the day-to-day look like?
In this role, you’ll:
- Oversee and implement hygiene procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Train, manage, and motivate the hygiene team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Conduct regular audits, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of hygiene standards across operations.
- Monitor and report key hygiene metrics to senior management.
- Be at the forefront of innovation by researching and applying new methods to enhance hygiene practices.
- Take advantage of professional development opportunities that could lead to senior leadership roles in quality or operations.
