Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Procedures and Communications are documented and understood by all stakeholders for major incident management, invocation of DR/ BCP, incident response.
  • Follow roadmaps for Applications, proactively identifying and implementing system enhancements as technology offerings change, to keep our technology current.
  • Responsibility for action and documenting Application change work, from scoping to delivery using Agile methodology.
  • Utilise Halo (our ITSM toolset) for managing ITSM processes, including population of configuration management information in line with ITIL framework.
  • Ensure applications adhere to Security policies, and that processes are in place to report on user access, and proactively manage the user entitlement.
  • Maintain customer relationships and improve response and delivery times. Resolve any service problems and customer complaints.
  • Work with leading third-party technology, cyber security specialists and internal Application and Infrastructure teams to deliver services and solutions. Formalise incident resolution documents to ensure repeatable, efficient fixes are in place, and smooth handover of relevant elements to SMF support team.
