Legal PA (Real Estate Team) - Edinburgh - Salary up to £30,000 p/a + DOE

We are looking to speak to experienced Legal Personal Assistants who are eager to secure their next, new challenge in Edinburgh. Ideally, you will have experience supporting a team of partners and fee earners daily, managing diaries, and completing all administrative duties when required. You will have experience working within an established team, within a busy legal environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing firm, who have a global presence! 

This is a full-time, permanent role, working core business hours Monday - Friday. This role will follow a hybrid working model and will have a salary of up to £30,000+ p/a DOE. 

 

Are you who we are looking for? 

  • You are an experienced Legal PA, or PA with knowledge or experience within a Real Estate team (desired, not essential) 
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are proactive and flexible, and able to work to complete any client requirements 
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages and other software 
  • You have an excellent attention to detail and complete all work to a high standard 
  • You can work effectively and collaboratively as a member of a team and independently 
  • You enjoy building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • You have exceptional levels of client service 

 

What is the day to day like? 

  • Working collaboratively with all finance teams to proactively support the financial performance of fee earners 
  • Completing client billing, reports and other administrative tasks when required 
  • Working closely with business development to support fee earners, organising and attending events and conferences
  • Assist BD team with organisation of team meetings, events and client reports when required 
  • Undertaking all matter management processes, preparing letters of engagements and liaising with the business acceptance unit when required 
  • Completing all conflict checking and client due diligence processes 
  • Ensuring all file management processes are undertaken correctly including bills, clearing balances, WIP and archiving files 
  • Completing comprehensive diary management including forward planning, travel, meeting arrangements and dealing with diary clashes 
  • Ensuring all meeting requirements are identified and actioned, preparing meeting packs, itineraries, and hospitality 
  • Utilising internal systems to complete all administrative tasks 
  • Delegating tasks to various departments including document production 
  • Adhering to the firms internal policies and procedures as well as completing any training on time
