Legal PA - Corporate & Commercial

Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 DOE

Are you an experienced PA with a passion for providing high-quality, proactive support? My client is looking for a talented individual to join their team and assist a group of partners, and fee earners ensuring seamless service delivery across various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Finance teams to support fee earners' financial performance, including client billing, reports, and management of matter balances and working capital.
  • Partner with Business Development to assist fee earners in event organisation, CRM administration and contributing to tenders and bids.
  • Assist with managing client relationships and compiling regular client reports
  • Take charge of matter management processes, ensuring the correct application of rates, preparation of engagement letters, and liaising with the Business Acceptance Unit.
  • Conduct conflict checks, Client Due Diligence, and complete the Client Matter Inception (CMI) process in line with best practice protocols.
  • Handle comprehensive diary management, including travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and proactive preparation of meeting packs and itineraries.
  • Recommend cost-efficient travel options for complex arrangements.
  • Delegate relevant tasks to Document Production, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner using Cube.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a comparable environment.
  • Flexibility to meet client needs and work in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience delivering exceptional client service.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
