Legal Secretary - Glasgow - Salary up to £28,000 p/a

We are looking to speak to Legal Secretaries with experience in the Corporate sector for a new role based in Glasgow. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive firm, who are highly regarded in their sector. Ideally, for this position you will be well organised, professional and hold a strong attention to detail when executing key tasks for partners and fee earners. You will take pride in your work and act as a brand ambassador at all times when working individually and within your wider team.
This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. There is a great salary available up to £28,000 p/a. At present this role is hybrid working.
Are you who we are looking for?
- You are an experienced legal secretary within a Corporate team (preferred but not essential)
- You are able to work well to your own initiative daily
- You have a strong attention to detail and are able to complete all work to the highest standards
- You are a confident communicator and able to liaise with various levels within the business
- You have experience utilising case management systems
- You are able to prioritise your workload daily and have excellent organisation skills
- You have full working knowledge of Microsoft Word packages
- You are able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders daily
- You have excellent typing and secretarial skills
What is the day to day like?
- Completing typing for all fee earners, including transcribing audio dictation and copy typing from draft documents
- Producing documentation in a professional and accurate manner
- Copying and binding documentation
- Implementing and maintaining files and records on the internal system, ensuring all information is up to date and accurate
- Completing diary management and meeting organisation
- Setting up new appointments
- Dealing with inbound calls from clients in a professional manner
- Opening and closing files and completing new client processes
- Preparing documentation for all court hearings and instructions for counsel
- Assisting with drafting fees when required
- Completing various other secretarial duties as required
