Legal Secretary - Glasgow - Salary up to £28,000 p/a

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience within the Commercial Property sector? 

Are you eager to join an established business based in Glasgow City Centre?

We are eager to speak to experienced Legal Secretaries or Administrators, who are looking for their next, new challenge in Glasgow. Working for an established and high-performing team, you will be responsible for supporting partners and fee earners daily with all administrative duties. Ideally, you will be a strong typist, with secretarial and dictation experience, gained within a legal business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded business in Glasgow City Centre.

This is a permanent opportunity, with a salary available up to £28,000 p/a DOE. For this role you can work either Full-Time or Part-Time, and follow a hybrid working model.

 

Are you who we are looking for?

  • You are an experienced legal secretary, within the commercial property sector (desired, not essential)
  • You are a confident communicator both written and orally
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages and dictation software 
  • You enjoy building key business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • You are proactive and able to work to your initiative
  • You have strong administrative skills
  • You are able to manage your time and diary effectively, meeting set targets and deadlines daily 

 

What is the day to day like?

  • Opening files and providing general departmental administration
  • Communicating with clients by emails and phone when required, in a professional manner
  • Managing diaries and meetings when required 
  • Typing correspondence and legal documents via digital dictation
  • Ordering of searches, assisting with LBTT returns and registering of documents with relevant forms within a timely manner
  • Assisting with different styles of documents/tables and tracking the execution of documents
  • Keeping physical and computer files up to date with correspondence
  • Attending team meetings and providing overall support to the team
