If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. We are seeking a Category Buyer to join a dynamic team, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the luxury offerings of their brand. In this role, you'll have the chance to work with some of the most prestigious suppliers in the industry, ensuring that their products not only meet but exceed the expectations of their discerning customers.

Are you who we’re looking for?

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a category management or buying role, preferably within luxury products
  • Numerically literate with the ability to manage budgets and KPIs.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities with a proven track record of managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of sustainability practices within the supply chain.
  • Strong analytical skills to track and evaluate supplier performance against key metrics.
  • Familiarity with product design processes and working with Packaging Technology teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and supply chain management.

 

What does the day to day look like?
 

  • Building and maintaining a network of suppliers who align with the luxury and sustainability values.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to develop innovative product designs.
  • Managing suppliers in accordance with the purchasing policies, ensuring quality, service, and cost-efficiency.
  • Tracking supplier performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Leading pricing negotiations to deliver cost savings while maintaining the highest product standards.
  • Holding regular supplier review meetings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with Marketing, NPD, Finance, and Packaging Development to deliver new products through the stage gate process.
