With a strong commitment to technological advancements, we are looking for an experienced Material Planner to help drive our materials management to new heights.
Position Overview: As a Material Planner, you will be a vital member of our supply chain team, responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of materials, such as metal, plastic, electronics, and other critical components, essential to our fuel dispenser manufacturing process. Your primary focus will be on supplier optimization, ensuring that our materials are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a diverse team to plan and manage materials across multiple projects.
- Utilize your expertise to optimize supplier relationships, negotiating terms and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Leverage ERP systems, including Oracle, to track and manage inventory, purchase orders, and material flows.
- Collaborate closely with approximately 150 suppliers to maintain a smooth and efficient supply chain.
- Maintain a high level of organization to meet production schedules and reduce lead times.
- Contribute to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Adapt to the fast-paced manufacturing environment and support the team during periods of growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in material planning or related roles.
- Strong experience working with ERP systems, particularly Oracle.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably with complex materials.
- Highly collaborative, driven, and organized.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
