Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) | Stirlingshire 

We are on the lookout for a talented Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our client’s dedicated team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills will be crucial to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a wide range of dairy production equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
  • Implement continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets operational and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled engineering role, preferably within the food and drinks industry.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and automation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (HND, HNC, or equivalent).
