Are you who we’re looking for?
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Proven experience in an FMCG, manufacturing, or similar engineering environment.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (e.g., HND, HNC, or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and continuous improvement techniques.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a dynamic team.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with colleagues and other departments.
What does the day-to-day look like?
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will:
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
- Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives, including identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out using CMMS systems.
- Take advantage of internal training and development programs designed to help you progress within the company.
