Are you who we’re looking for?

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Proven experience in an FMCG, manufacturing, or similar engineering environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (e.g., HND, HNC, or equivalent).
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and continuous improvement techniques.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with colleagues and other departments.

What does the day-to-day look like?

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will:

  • Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
  • Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives, including identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out using CMMS systems.
  • Take advantage of internal training and development programs designed to help you progress within the company.
