As a key part of the Real Estate team, you will play a central role in advising a range of clients on all aspects of planning law, including infrastructure projects, housing developments, and environmental matters. You will be involved in high-profile and complex cases, providing top-tier legal advice while supporting junior team members to grow and develop within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert planning law advice to a diverse range of clients across Scotland, with a focus on real estate and development projects.
- Lead and manage a caseload of planning matters, including pre-application advice, planning appeals, and judicial reviews.
- Work closely with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
- Mentor and support junior solicitors, fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and high performance.
- Contribute to business development efforts, identifying opportunities to grow the firm's client base in planning and real estate law.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years PQE with a strong background in planning law, ideally within the real estate sector.
- Proven track record in managing complex planning matters from inception to completion.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to advise clients at a strategic level.
- Passion for mentoring and team development, with experience supporting the growth of junior colleagues.
- Proactive, client-focused approach, dedicated to delivering high-quality legal services.
