Are you an experienced Project Engineer ready to tackle exciting engineering challenges? We’re seeking a driven individual to oversee and deliver key engineering projects at our cutting-edge site in Ayrshire Scotland. If you’re collaborative, responsible, pioneering, and talented, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with Operations to scope and design innovative projects within budgets and timelines.
  • Lead tender strategies and manage supplier/contractor engagements, ensuring procurement goals are met.
  • Implement and track project targets, ensuring cost forecasts are accurate and risks are managed.
  • Develop and review project progress, resolve issues, and monitor performance.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, preparing and implementing project-specific safety plans.
  • Oversee project handover, ensuring zero defects and that all documentation is complete.
  • Drive continuous improvement across multiple operations sites.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Engineering Project Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
  • Approximately 4+ years of post-graduate experience.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on cost control and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Projects (or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, adapt to changing situations, and deliver exceptional results.
  • Full driving license and flexibility to travel to various sites.
