Are you who we’re looking for?
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager in the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of BRC and ISO 9001 standards.
- Strong auditing skills with hands-on experience in quality management system implementation.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Relevant degree or certification in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
What does the day to day look like?
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with BRC and ISO 9001 standards.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely and effective Corrective and Preventive Actions are implemented.
- Oversee the development, review, and approval of Company Operating Procedures.
- Conduct internal site audits and facilitate external audits from customers and industry bodies.
- Manage non-conformances identified through audits, investigations, and customer feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews for quality, setting objectives to foster continuous development.
- Maintain all staff training records, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date training in quality and food safety.
- Drive cost-saving projects (e.g., 5S and DMAIC) within the Quality and Hygiene departments.
- Report on quality performance metrics and trends during management meetings.
