Senior SHE Advisor - Glasgow – Competitive salary

What does the day to day look like?
- Implement the SHE strategy through the frontline coaching of all line managers and employees
- Influence and engage with line managers and employees with an intent to challenge and change attitudes and behaviours related to SHE
- Provision of competent, expert risk management and SHE advice to the business
- Develop, implement, audit, and maintain SHE Policies and Standards
- Problem resolution including formal incident/complaint investigation
- Support the implementation of environmental and sustainability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all existing and new SHE legislation
- Conduct audits and risk assessments
Who are we looking for?
- A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field - Desirable
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety
- Experience in a senior SHE role, preferably within manufacturing or a similar industry
- Proven track record of implementing SHE strategies and policies
- Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
