An established care provider is seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Leader to join their dynamic team, offering a salary of £35,871 - £38,294 per annum. This is a full-time, permanent role with 37 hours per week, ideal for someone passionate about making a real impact in the lives of autistic adults.
Role Overview:
The Team Leader will be responsible for leading and mentoring a dedicated team, while providing direct support to nine autistic adults. The role combines hands-on care with leadership, ensuring high standards of service in line with Social Care Standards. This position requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and external agencies to develop and implement personalised support plans that put the individuals at the heart of all decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, coach, and mentor support staff, offering reflective practice sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Direct Support: Work closely with autistic adults, ensuring their needs, preferences, and personal goals are at the forefront of all care.
- Collaboration: Liaise with families, external agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and individualised support plans.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of care through regular assessments, ensuring compliance with Social Care Standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Recruitment & Development: Play an active role in the recruitment process, identifying and nurturing talent within the team, and fostering a positive, values-driven working environment.•
- On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in an on-call rota to ensure continuity of service and resolve any emerging issues efficiently.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in autism support, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Thorough understanding of Social Care Standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to participate in the on-call rota.
- A commitment to creating a person-centred approach in all aspects of care.
