Working closely with company directors and account executives, you will handle mid/large size commercial risks from a varied client base including manufacturers, property owners, hauliers, engineers, etc.
Handling new and existing business
Quotations, Renewals, MTA’s, policy issue, market submission, presentations, etc.
Liasing with clients ensuring they receive a professional service at all times
Attend client meetings as required
Keep abreast of market changes and new regulations
Progress towards insurance qualifications
You should have a proven track record of handling commercial insurance risks, ideally within a broking environment, although candidates from insurer backgrounds will be considered.
Acturis experience would be beneficial although not essential
A sound understanding of commercial insurance products including motor, property, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, etc.
Good IT skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail.
