HRC Recruitment are currently working on an excellent and rare opportunity on the market. This role is extra appealing as it is offered on reduced hours of around 25 hours per week- ideally 9.30-2.30 however there is flexibility with this as long as it works within 25 hours.
You will be working with an established and long standing wider finance team and will be fully supported in relation to training and development.
This role is based towards the South of Glasgow and has parking onsite although is also very accessible via public transport.
What will the day to day look like?
Chasing clients for payment on all invoices
Indentifying and allocating of daily cash receipts
Following through all queries raised until payment is received
Where necessary, follow legal proceedings
Entering client notes on finance system to allow appropriate action for each client to be followed
Building and maintaining good relations with key accounts
Cover for Credit Control Supervisor where necessary
Continually seeking opportunities to enhance relationships and service where possible
Are you who we are looking for?
You must be experienced in a Credit Control position
A background working in construction, manufacturing, engineering would be highly beneficial
Be comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
Be comfortable communicating at all levels
Have experience working on excel
Be a positive, hard-working and happy to get stuck in
