HRC Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join a UK wide organization in their Finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within this area and gain exposure in a high-volume environment. This position is initially available on a 6 month fixed term contract for an immediately available candidate, and would offer an excellent boost to your CV if you are looking for more practical exposure with a numerical based role.
Your main responsibilities would include:
Work with Payroll department on the roll out for Time & Attendance Project
Liaise with payroll for changes to employee data
Ensure all hours are being pulled through system correctly
Dealing with any timesheet discrepances
All Ad Hoc duties as directed by the T&A Team Leaders
Be experienced working in a numerical based position
Understand working with excellent attention to detail and at a high speed
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to work to tight deadlines
Previous finance/accounts experience
Be confident dealing with direct contact from different employees
You will ideally have worked in a payroll, banking or accounts environment either in a customer facing role or back office.
Please note this position will require rotation of shifts from 7am-5pm- details around this can be provided.
